Skilled Gardener
Tenure: Part Time / Full Time
Salary: Up to £28,500 - 31,500 p/annum
Start Date: June 26
Stephen Ogilvie Ltd is an award winning Garden Design, Build and Horticulture company based in Edinburgh. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and proactive Skilled Gardener to join our dynamic gardening team, which looks after stunning private gardens and estates in Edinburgh, Perthshire and the Scottish Borders, to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good plant identification skills
- Knowledge of how and when to prune shrubs and trees
- Herbaceous border care and development
- Experience using a range of horticultural tools and machinery
- Pesticide certificates & Chainsaw licence preferable
- Relevant horticultural qualifications (e.g. HNC, RHS Level 2)
- At least 2 years experience working in high-end gardens
- Full, clean driving licence
We provide a uniform, PPE and all necessary tools and equipment, as well as opportunities for additional qualifications and courses that are relevant to the role.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
31 days annual leave (increasing with length of service)
